Eleven year-old R&B/Soul/Pop singer Isabel Liliana Lacatus, working with renowned, multi-platinum producer Arty Skye and the SkyeLab Music Group in Time Square, NYC, is currently recording her debut album. Her first single, “Outside the Box,” written and composed entirely by Isabel, is set to Aug 27′th 2011 with the full-length album shortly following. Isabel was born March 18, 2000, in Berks, Pennsylvania. Deep inside her voice is a mystery of sounds and an old soul, drawing comparisons to artists such as Alicia Keys After beginning piano practice at the age of three, Isabel is now instructed personally from pianist Dr. Pan and receives vocal coaching from Grammy Award nominees George Dyer and Leigh Nash.

Sunt absolut convins că vom auzi de această tânără “speranță” in anii ce vor urma. La doar 11 ani are o voce superbă, este instruită de oameni competenți și, foarte important, are șansa de a nu se fi născut în România. Accentul american se simte clar în singura piesa românească pe care am găsit-o interpretată de Isabel, insă e de apreciat că ea (sau părinții ei) nu și-a(u) uitat rădăcinile mioritice.
