Before we go on, I’d like to thank you for stopping by and ask you to subscribe in order to get the latest updates or add me on twitter & LinkedIn. If you want to get in touch with me you can do so here. Now onto the fun part.
I know you were wondering: The R. stands for Robert.
Short & personal version: I love all things related to the Internet, I’m a passionate trend spotter, I advocate common sense and its use in business, lifestyle and social interactions. I’m a calm and mindful person thanks to the daily practice of meditation, although some might argue that I’m exceptionally cruel & swift when crossed. Contrary to popular belief I’m not affiliated with organized crime; it’s gracefully disorganized. And I run (INC)3
Long & professional: Born in 1981 in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, into a great and pretty posh family. I’m what you could call all round european, since my mother is Hungarian and my father part French, part German. I don’t speak german nor french, although I pretty much understand both. I do however speak hungarian, italian and some spanish, apart from romanian and english.
Fast forward to 2001 when I had my first contact with the business and tech world. This was also the year I started college (2001 -2008, Economic Studies – Management & Marketing) and the year I took on my first job, as an Internet Cafe attendant. Here I met Adrian Costin, that would later employ me as a Business Development Manager at SimpliQ, one of Romania’s best and brightest Datacenters. I would later become its Executive Vice President and during my “presidency” we’ve done quite a few wonders in the market.
In July 2008 I’ve been offered a marketing position with Trilulilu, Romania’s #1 site and leading 2.0 startup. I used to be called the Marketing Crocodile and Portfolio Manager.
One year later I resigned my position at Trilulilu and founded (INC)3. In late 2010 I’ve also joined Webfactor as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer.
That’s all related to my job history. I love technology, software, gadgets and everything in regards to new and social media. I’m astonished by the power of the social web and I enjoy advising people in regards to new and social media. Quite a few people seek my advice and I gladly help everyone out; I work on regular basis with individuals, companies and agencies on various projects.
I also need to mention that I support, endorse, promote and recomend only products that I use or would use myself. I honestly believe that a personal recommendation is worth far more than any marketing or advertising campaign.
And sometimes I blog about the above. Not that often, but I intend do so as often as I can. I am however more active on twitter.
Published papers:
“Identifying and understanding customers” (may 2003)
“Socio-psychological aspects of the acquisition decision. Particularities of the purchases made by corporations” (june 2003)
Disclaimer: I’m also involved in a few projects and furthermore, acting as an advisor for a couple of startups; Every now and then I advertise them on my blog and social stream.
